Terms of Service – ThePod.fm


Effective Date: 2nd October 2025


By engaging with ThePod.fm (“we”, “our”, “us”), you (“client”) agree to the following terms:


1. Services Provided


We provide podcast-related services, including:


  • Scheduling and managing podcast meetings.

  • Outreach to podcast guests.

  • Podcast editing, transcription, and production support.

  • Analytics, reporting, and content repurposing.

  • Transactional SMS communications, including meeting reminders and follow-ups.


2. Client Access


  • Services are restricted to private, contracted clients only.

  • ThePod.fm integrations (including Google Calendar OAuth access) are not available to the public.


3. Use of Google APIs


We use Google APIs (e.g., Calendar) only to facilitate podcast scheduling.


  • Data is used only as described in our Privacy Policy.

  • We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Policy.


4. Client Content Responsibility


Clients retain full ownership of their podcasts and published content.


  • Clients are responsible for what is said or published on their shows.

  • ThePod.fm is not liable for any outcomes, reputational harm, or damages arising from client-created content.

  • We act only as a facilitator and service provider.


5. Outreach Services


Outreach to potential podcast guests is performed by ThePod.fm. Clients are not responsible or liable for messages or campaigns carried out by ThePod.fm.


6. Booking a Call and SMS Communications

By booking a call through our scheduling page (Cal.com) or providing your phone number through any of our forms, you agree to the following.

Consent and use of your information

  • You consent to being contacted regarding your booking and related services.

  • You authorise ThePod.fm to manage and store the details of your booking.

  • Providing a phone number and consenting to SMS is optional and is not required in order to book a call with us.

Transactional SMS messages

If you tick the SMS consent checkbox at the point of booking, you consent to receive automated transactional SMS messages from ThePod.fm strictly related to the call you have booked.

These messages are limited to:

  • Booking confirmation.

  • Meeting reminders.

  • Scheduling, rescheduling, or cancellation notices for your booked call.

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages through this opt-in. We do not send SMS messages to leads or prospects who have not opted in through this form. If you become a contracted client of ThePod.fm, we may also send transactional coordination messages relating to podcast production scheduling, governed by your service agreement.

Frequency, costs, and opting out

  • Message frequency varies based on your engagement.

  • Standard text and data rates may apply.

  • You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance.

  • Opting out of SMS does not affect the delivery of contracted services or your ability to attend your booked call.


7. Limitation of Liability


  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Our liability is limited to the fees paid by the client in the last 3 months.


8. Termination


Either party may terminate services with written notice. Upon termination, all connected data (e.g., Google Calendar) will be removed within 30 days.


9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
