The Problem
Reetu had the network, the mission, and the credibility to host a podcast worth listening to. What she did not have was a way to get it off the ground.
She spent a year trying to launch her show on her own and could not make it happen.
The vision was clear, but the operational reality, recording, editing, artwork, guest booking, publishing, and doing it consistently alongside a demanding global role, kept the show stuck as an idea rather than a live platform.
For someone whose work runs on partnerships and influence, that delay had a real cost. Every month the show stayed unlaunched was a month of conversations not had and authority not built in a space moving as fast as sustainability.
By the time she came to ThePod.fm, the goal was simple: stop planning a podcast and start running one. ThePod.fm took on everything end to end, naming and artwork, guest sourcing and booking, production, and publishing, so Reetu could focus on the part only she could do, the conversations.

"I've been trying to launch my podcast for a year."

Their Ideal Client Profile
Green Shoots & Big Shifts was built for the people driving the sustainability transition: founders, corporate change-makers, and community leaders turning ideas into action, and the wider audience of operators and leaders who want honest, hopeful conversations about making sustainability part of how we live, lead, and work.
The guest strategy matched that ambition. Rather than chasing volume, the show targeted senior sustainability, ESG, and climate leaders at mission-driven organisations, the people whose work and names lend the show authority from its very first episodes.
Core guest criteria included:
The Podcast
Together we built Green Shoots & Big Shifts, a weekly show hosted by Reetu Gupta about what it really takes to make sustainability part of how we live, lead, and work.
Each episode is an open, hopeful conversation about innovation, collaboration, and the everyday shifts that move us toward a more abundant and resilient future.

The brand had to feel as considered as the conversations. ThePod.fm led the full creative direction and build-out, including:
Naming and positioning that captured the show's optimism, growth from small green shoots into big shifts, and aligned it with Reetu's work across sustainability and systems change.
Visual identity and artwork built on a deep forest-green palette with organic, botanical shoot motifs and an elegant high-contrast serif wordmark, a look that is calm, premium, and unmistakably about growth.
Intro and outro scripting that framed each episode with clarity and set the hopeful, grounded tone.
A dedicated podcast landing page that auto-updates with new episodes, boosting SEO, credibility, and discoverability. Designed by ThePod.fm.
Each episode follows a relaxed, founder-to-founder style conversation, designed to reach and feature the exact leaders Reetu wanted to bring into the show.
The Results
The results were fast, measurable, and directly aligned with Reetu's goal of finally building a live, credible platform.
After twelve months of trying to launch on her own, Reetu had a fully produced, branded podcast in market, with ThePod.fm handling everything behind the scenes.
Green Shoots & Big Shifts reached #5 in the Careers category in Singapore, #20 in India, and #85 in the United States, with further placements in the Business category at #98 in Singapore and #226 in India.
For a brand-new show, ranking in a top-five category position internationally inside two weeks is rare.
The early guest roster spans leaders at organisations including GitLab, Consumer Reports, the National Wildlife Federation, the Rainforest Action Network, the Surfrider Foundation, Grameen Foundation, Kiss the Ground, Calvert, and Glass Lewis, exactly the calibre of voice that builds authority from episode one.
With sourcing, booking, production, and publishing handled by ThePod.fm, the show ships on schedule, building a back catalogue and keeping Reetu visible to the audience she wants to reach.

"Aqil and team are doing a great job. They make launching a podcast pretty easy, so you can focus on the creative parts while they take care of the back office work!"
- Reetu Gupta
The Conversations
For most people, the idea of running a podcast feels like a heavy lift. Reetu knew that better than most, she had spent a year proving how hard it is to do alone.
With ThePod.fm managing every operational detail, that weight lifted. She could focus on the creative parts and the conversations, while the back office, booking, production, scheduling, and publishing, ran in the background.
Because the show was built around genuine, hopeful conversations rather than interviews, each recording opened a real relationship with a senior leader in her space. Instead of cold outreach, Reetu was connecting, building a network of sustainability change-makers one episode at a time.
That is what makes this model scalable. The same conversations that make great content also deepen relationships and build authority, without Reetu having to manage a single moving part.
The Outcome
By handing the operations to ThePod.fm, Reetu turned a year-long ambition into a live, charting show in a matter of weeks, and gained a repeatable platform for building authority and relationships across the sustainability world.
Beyond the early rankings and guest bookings, the system gave her something more durable: a consistent owned-media engine that compounds. Every episode adds another senior relationship, another piece of content, and another reason for the right people to know her name.
At ThePod.fm, we believe genuine conversations drive real business growth.
Green Shoots & Big Shifts is proof that when you replace broadcasting with real conversations, and hand the heavy lifting to a team that does this every day, the results compound far beyond any single episode.
